Resolution making Murfreesboro state capital
“Resolved by the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee that the next meeting of the General Assembly shall be at the Town of Murfreesborough in the County of Rutherford, and all public offices therein belonging be removed to the said town of Murfreesborough on or before the first day of June, 1818.”
