1. Indomitable Marker
Inscription. The Brown Bear was introduced in 1904 as the athletic mascot and symbol of the College. Throughout the decades, the Bear has been represented in verse, song, and image, as well as by live bears named Bruno, costumed students, and campus statuary. Indomitable continues the Brown Bear tradition, celebrating the spirit, strength, and courage of the University and its athletic teams.
