This building was constructed in 1915 with grants from the Women's Improvement Club, Carnegie Foundation, and the City of Willits. The total cost of construction was $1,000. It served continuously as a library to the Greater Willits area until April 22, 1989 when a new library building was constructed on East Commercial Street. This property has been placed on the City of Willits Historical Register.
