1. VanArsdall / Sale House Marker
Inscription. This Beaux Arts style home was built in 1905 for G. Alfred Curry. In 1919, it was purchased by Dr. Condit B. VanArsdall, Sr. whose daughter Elizabeth married Forest “Aggie” Sale. Mr. Sale was a Captain of the 1933 University of Kentucky basketball team and two-time All-America. The home continues ownership in the same family.
