Montezuma Valley National Bank

The building in constructed of native sandstone in a vernacular, commercial architectural theme with Classical Greek Revival details. Like the Stone Block building to the west, this structure was constructed by the Baxstrom brothers from stone quarried in Hartman Draw. The bank was originally started as a private bank in the Creighton Rauh office. On inauguration day 1933 the bank was closed, and operated in liquidation until 1937 when it was purchased by the Citizen's State Bank and operated until 1956. Basin Industrial Bank moved into the building in 1957 and continues to provide banking services.
