Inscription. In 1995, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of President David Roselle and his wife, Louise, at the University of Delaware, the Board of Trustees chose to name this section of campus, long known as The Grove, in recognition of the Roselles' service.

"The Board of Trustees acknowledges the many successes of the Roselles during their tenure. They have enhanced all aspects of life at the University of Delaware and they have done this with a keen sense of the University's rich past and an unwavering optimism about its future."
