Regarding Olympic Flagpole. This is one of thirty flagpoles from Squaw Valley relocated around the world with the same plaque attached. The flagpoles were part of the first-ever Olympic Opening Ceremony spectacle, created by Walt Disney, who said “Nothing is more important than creating lasting goodwill among our visitors“.
