PFC Denzil M. Decker: US Marines who lost his life September 18, 1944 while landing on Palau Island in the Pacific. Denzil was 19 yrs old.
T/SGT Mareno P. Malatesta: US Air Force. Tail Gunner on b-17 who lost his life while flying a mission over Vienna Austria August 22, 1944. Mareno was 28 yrs old.
