The Teddy Roosevelt Tree
The stump from that tree was rescued from a
San Jose dump off Story Road by Campbell
Garden Club member Lilyann Brannon.
Through her perseverance, it was replanted at
what was then called Vasona Garden Center
on October 16, 1964. The tree you see before
you grew from that stump.
