1. Bonnie Lee "Country" Graham Marker
Inscription. Six-foot-three Baldwyn native “Country” Graham led the Bearcats to a state title in 1932. In 1938, he became the first All-American basketball player from Ole Miss and Mississippi. He pioneered the one-handed hook shot, “Country’s Fadeway.” As head coach at Ole Miss, he led them to three straight championships and the SEC tournament before retiring in 1962 with the most wins in university history. He was inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in 1963 and Ole Miss Athletic hall of Fame in 1986 as a charter member.
