In the early 1900s, it housed the Sternberg Clothing House which became Olson Lee Company clothing, and from 1914 into the 1920s it was the Sperling Shoe Co. The O. P. Skaggs grocery store operated here from the 1930s until 1990. The architect may have been Maurice Hockman.
