A frame building built on this site housed McWhorter Hardware and burned in the fire of 1914. In 1915, Baldwyn's U.S. Post Office was relocated here in a brick structure until 1952. Magers and Poole Appliance Store, Gladys Barber's Dollar Store, Outlaw Press, and J&B Printing occupied this building in the years to follow; Frost & Stubbs beauty shop was in the basement and the American Legion met upstairs. renovated in 2005 as Old Post Office Restaurant.National Register of Historic Places.
