A parking lot, site of a demolished structure, is adjacent to the hotel on the south, and south of the lot is the Beneficial Finance building at 162-168 North Fourth Street... Though the first-floor storefronts have been modernized with ca. 1960s aluminum and glass materials, the building is otherwise little altered. It is two stories in height, of red brick construction wit h a buff brick west facade, and it dates from about 1930. I t has a central bay wit h a raised parapet area and five slightly projecting brick pilasters topped by stylized Ionic capitals . Its facade lies in the same plane as those of the other buildings in
