1. Second Oakland Avenue Bridge Marker
Inscription. On this site, the second Oakland Avenue bridge was constructed in 1936. The bridge was a single span, open spandrel, reinforced concrete arch bridge with a span of 331 feet. It was an excellent example of this type of bridge and it was a good example of a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project in the state.
