1. Bend Hardware Building Marker
Inscription. Partners Floyd Dement and George Childs started a hardware business in 1912 and relocated to this building in 1918. The two worked together until 1935 when they had a falling out and dissolved their partnership. Neither one ventured too far, however, they operated their separate businesses next door to one another for several years.
