1. Sather Building Marker
Inscription. Evan A. Sather opened this two-story mercantile business and called it the Pine Tree Store because of a pine tree that grew through the front sidewalk. The upstairs was known a Sather Hall and became a popular gathering place for civic and social gatherings.
