1. St. Cecilia Catholic Church Marker
Inscription. In 1919, reversing the long standing community sentiment against formal religion, a small wood-framed mission was built on this site and became Thiensville’s first church. In 1940, this neo-Gothic limestone church replaced it. A school building was added in 1956, and a new church was built in 1964.
