The Community and the Pro-Construction Committee of Santiago Acotzilapan, State of Mexico, thank all the people who have collaborated so that this new temple may be consecrated by Bishops Constancio Miranda Heckmann, Bishop of Atlacomulco and José Melgoza Osorio, Bishop Emeritus of Nezahualcoyotl.
The work was started in March 1999 under the Parish Priest Felipe Ortega Flores. It was completed on the occasion of the 50th year of the creation of the parish under Presbyter José Luis García Cardoso and under the direction of the architect Alfredo Castro S.
