Jonathan Banes House
This house was built in 1845 by Jonathan Banes and his wife Marie Mount Banes. Banes was a construction contractor for the Canal in 1837. He also worked on the construction of the brick grist mill. Marie was the daughter of Metamora's founder.
This was also the home of artist, Bernard Franklin LePoris.
