1. Christian Thorpe House Marker
Inscription. Christian Thorpe built this home in 1888 for his wife Sophia. Having left the Smithy he opened a hardware and implement store, with Nick Williams as a partner. They next opened an embalming and funeral parlor, the result of taking a correspondence course.
