The 330th Bomb Group (VH) carried the air war to Japan from March to August 1945, flying a total of 47 missions from its base at North Field on the island of Guam.
This plaque is dedicated to the memory of the more than 70 men of the 330th who lost their lives taking part in these missions. Their surviving comrades proudly honor them with this memorial.
