Inscription.

Dedicated to the members of the 40^th Bomb Group
who gave their lives in the service of their country
during World War II. The 40^th Bomb Group served
with distinction in Puerto Rico; Panama; Guatemala;
Ecuador; the Galapagos Islands; Pratt, Kansas; India;
China and the Island of Tinian.

Their bodies are peacefully laid away, but
their names live on and on.
