1. Sans Souci Boiler House Marker

Inscription. Constructed in 1896, this structure housed the steamplant that provided heat in the Sans Souci apartments. The actual components were housed in a concrete basement and the steam passed through underground piping. This photograph was taken from the Club water tower. Across the street was the Club vegetable garden which was later replaced by the Morgan indoor tennis court.
