Roman Bathhouse. . , These are the remains of a public bathhouse that stood close to the harbor pier. It was a service provided for seafarers, along with port facilities like trading posts, repairs, storage and maintenance., Water was piped into the hot and cold rooms, the showers and the latrines., As usual in large Roman cities, the bathhouses served a social function, and an expression of the splendor, sophistication and refinement of the city’s dominant culture., Excavations in Caesarea over the years uncovered six such bathhouses., Proposed restoration of a typical Roman bathhouse., حمام روماني , أمامكم آثار حمام عمومي بني بجوار رصيف الميناء كجزء من مجموعة الخدمات المقدمة لرواد الميناء - إلى جانب حيزات التجارة، الحرف التخزين والصيانة., وصلت المياه إلى الحمام عن طريق نظام الأنابيب الذي أوصلها إلى غرف الاستحمام الساخنة والباردة، إلى غرف تغيير الملابس والمراحيض., غرف الاستحمام، كانت الحمامات مكانا للقاء ومقرا اجتماعيا وكانت تعبيرا عن الفخامة الذكاء الظرافة والصقل التي تميزت الثقافة ميزت في المدينة. خلال أعمال التنقيب في قيساريا اكتشفت على مر السنين ستة حمامات., בית מרחץ רומי , לפניכם שרידיו של בית מרחץ ציבורי, שנבנה בצמוד למזח הנמל כחלק ממכלול השירותים שסופקו לבאים – לצד מרחבי מסחר, מלאכה, אחסון ותחזוקה., המים הגיעו לבית המרחץ באמצעות מערכת צינורות שהובילה אותם אל חדרי הרחצה החמה והקרה, אל המלתחות ואל בתי השימוש (לטרינות). כמקובל בעיר רומית גדולה, בתי המרחץ שימשו מקום מפגש ומוקד חברתי, והיו ביטוי לפאר, לתחכום ולעידון שאפיינו את התרבות השלטת בעיר. במהלך עבודת החפירה בקיסריה נחשפו לאורך השנים שישה בתי מרחץ. . These are the remains of a public bathhouse that stood close to the harbor pier. It was a service provided for seafarers, along with port facilities like trading posts, repairs, storage and maintenance.

Water was piped into the hot and cold rooms, the showers and the latrines.

As usual in large Roman cities, the bathhouses served a social function, and an expression of the splendor, sophistication and refinement of the city’s dominant culture.

Excavations in Caesarea over the years uncovered six such bathhouses.

ومقرا اجتماعيا وكانت تعبيرا عن الفخامة الذكاء الظرافة والصقل التي تميزت الثقافة ميزت في المدينة. خلال أعمال التنقيب في قيساريا اكتشفت على مر السنين ستة حمامات.

ממכלול השירותים שסופקו לבאים – לצד מרחבי מסחר, מלאכה, אחסון ותחזוקה.
