1. The Stockdick House Marker
This house was built in 1916 for the Adam Henry Stockdick family. It was located at the corner of Fourth St. and Ave. A. Mr. Stockdick worked as Katy's first real estate agent. In 1929 the house was purchased by their son William Chester Stockdick, who lived in the house with his wife Zeta (Morrison) until their deaths. The house remained in the Stockdick family until it was acquired by First United Methodist Church Katy in 2001. In 2002 the house and fence were donated to the Katy Heritage Society and in 2003 it was moved to Katy Heritage Park.
