1. George Washington Marker
Inscription. The Father of Our Country, Washington was unanimously elected the First President of the United States. He commanded the American forces at Yorktown to victory over the British creating American Independence. He later individually stopped a soldiers rebellion on the young nation's Congress and preserved the country's hard-won freedom.
