Sperry Fountain
E.F. Sperry was elected Mayor of Orlando in 1913 and died in office in 1916. As one of Orlando’s pioneer citizens, he dedicated himself to the growing City and founded The South Florida Foundry and Machine Works. This is an exact replica of the fountain he donated in 1913 to the City along with the land near Lake Eola for a public park. The fountain was first turned on February of 1914.
Erected 2001 by The Orlando Community Redevelopment Agency.
