Inscription. The Purity Bread Company, based in Minneapolis, was among the first corporate wholesale bakeries to introduce packaged, sliced white bread to Billings. One Purity Bread advertisement boasted, "The well-bred run for gladness' sake to get this loaf of joy we bake; for tho' it's bread, it take the cake... Purity Bread."
