San Giovanni Airfield, Italy
1944 - 1945

In memory of those valiant members of the Four
Hundred Fifty Fourth Bombardment Group who
made the supreme sacrifice for their country...
who were never able to reflect on their efforts in
bringing the peaceful symbol of the
olive branches of San Giovanni to the world.

Dedicated this Fifth day of October 1984 by
their buddies, who remain, on the occasion of the
group's forty-first-year reunion.
