1. A Revolutionary Soldier Marker
Inscription. In Memory of Rev. Nathan "Father" Grantham, born May 29, 1751, in South Carolina. He served two terms South Carolina Volunteers during the Revolutionary War. As a circuit riding Methodist Minister, he served the Liberty Chapel Methodist Church, located on Liberty Creek in Northeast Henry County - Church later moved to this location - He died May 6, 1839, and was buried in the Liberty Chapel Cemetery.
