Inscription. Only two-story adobe remaining in Santa Barbara, occupied by descendants of the builder continuously until April 1969. Restored by Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Perkins, new owners, 1971.

The correct spelling is Botiller.
The adobe was purchased by art historian Linda Cathcart in 2007, who created Casa Dolores, Center for the Study of the Popular Arts of Mexico. The art museum is open Tue-Sat 12-4.
