Additional commentary.
1. Cpl. R. J. Parker
I joined Hotel Company September 1st and in October moved w/Hotel to Hill 190. Volunteered for a few days of anti-insurrectionist duty and survived that and a couple of ambushes/unpleasantness and was wounded at the base of Hill 190 while on point on 22 November ’67.
I remember and liked Carmine, a little surly but a good Marine; and Dilly, a really good Marine; and Cpl. R. J. Parker, we all admired him. I still think of him, and I remember how Carmine cried. We all wanted to help. S’long, pal.
