This Memorial Plaque is dedicated to the Brave Recon Marines and Navy Corpsmen who served with Honor and Courage in 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion (Rein), 3rd Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force, US Marine Corps 1961 - 1971 in the Republic of Vietnam.

Let us not forget that our Freedom came at a very high price. We salute those Recon Marines and Navy Corpsmen who fought and died with the sacrifice of their lives for our Recon Battalion, our American Flag and the Freedom of our country.
