Willow Banks / Chevy Chase
On this site stood Willow Banks, the 1824 home of William H. Stephens, prominent attorney, banker and colonel of the 6th Tennessee Infantry, CSA. A new home on the site, Chevy Chase, was built in 1915 by Clarence Pigford and donated to the First Presbyterian Church in 1951.
