La Ciudad de Toluca se erigio como capital del Estado de Mexico el 24 de julio de 1830, por Decreto Numero 130 expedido por el Congreso Constituyente en la Ciudad de Tlalpan, el 12 de julio del mismo aρo.
Al cumplirse el sesquicentenario de Toluca como capital de la entidad, el Gobierno del Estado de Mexico y el H. Ayuntamiento del Municipio de Toluca, rinden homenaje a los forjadores de esta ciudad.

1830 - 1980
The City of Toluca was erected as the capital of the State of Mexico on July 24, 1830, by Decree Number 130 issued by the Constituent Congress in the City of Tlalpan, on July 12 of the same year.
On the sesquicentenary of Toluca as the capital of the state, the Government of the State of Mexico and the Honorable Town Hall of the Municipality of Toluca, pay homage to the founders of this city.
