Dawson Congregational Church Bell
This bell was purchased with funds raised by local people and with a large donation coming from Mr. & Mrs. Marble.
For several years in the early 1880's, Mr. & Mrs. Marble along with their guests, came to Dawson in their private railroad car to enjoy the hunting in the area.
Mrs. Marble was very interested in the struggling little church, which resulted in her gift.
The inscription on the bell reads, The Jones Troy Bell Co, 1886, Congl' Church, Dawson. The first church bell between Jamestown and Bismarck. DAK 1886
