Inscription.
The original World War II Honor Roll monument was erected by the Wentzville Community Club in 1944 at their pavilion on Pearce Boulevard to honor the men and women from Wentzville who served in the war. In 1963, when the property was sold, the monument was disassembled. Now at last, the Historical Society, with the help of the Wentzville Community Club and other individuals and organizations, is proud to re-create it, once again honoring those who made sacrifices for our freedom.
