1. Hoye's Store Marker

Inscription. Early pioneers John and Mary Hoye came to the valley in 1863 or 1864. On the edge of Alkali Flat they operated a station which they later move to its present location in 1873.
Through the years there have been several owners without any interruption of services thus making it one of the oldest continuous operating businesses in Nevada

Erected 1991 by Julia C. Bulette Chapter 1864, E Clampus Vitus.
