Located along the Walnut Branch Creek sits this Greek revival style home built in 1901. This house was designed by Wooley Architects of San Antonio and built by businessman J.T. Holmes. The original home had a 2 story L-shaped porch. The home has a summer kitchen, originally separated from the house, leaded glass windows, wood panel pocket doors, 10' ceilings and most of the original windows, doors and floors. The home is surrounded by centuries old live oak trees. Through the years this home was owned by several families including William Chambers, the creator of Fritos Bean Dip.
