Inscription.

Dedicated to the memory of the officers and airmen, including assigned airmen of the Royal Canadian Air Force, who gave their lives while serving their countries as members of the 12th Bombardment Group (Med)., U. S. Army Air Forces. The group was activated in January 1941 at McChord Field, Washington; and operated in and from Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Sicily, Italy, India, Burma and China during World War II — July 1942 through August 1945.
