Trevilians Schoolhouse
1880 to 1922
This one-room schoolhouse was originally located four miles west of Louisa near Trevilian's Station. The 1868 Constitutional Convention during Reconstruction mandated education to be made available to all children in Virginia. The full historic restoration of the schoolhouse in 2017 was made possible by the generosity of
Erected by Louisa County Historical Society.
