Inscription. These buildings marked the heart of the Arthurdale community. Centered around an 1856 abandoned church originally standing between Reedsville and Masontown, the main white building in front of you served as a meeting place with added arms which included the craft shop, barber shop, and post office. The complex also included a general store, tearoom, weaving room, furniture factory, forge, and administrative offices.
