—————————————
Original Hole Names

In 1887 Joseph M. Fox designed the first 5 holes
of the Foxburg Country Club. In 1893 the course was
expanded to 9 holes, resembling the present course.
Using distinguishing characteristics each hole was
then given a name. By using pertinent historical
information, the original hole names have been
assigned to the current holes. A name sign has been
placed on each tee now used for hickory shaft play.
