1. Macedonia Baptist Church Marker
Inscription.  Organized 1850. Originally located near Old Blue Mountain Cemetery and moved here to the Deentown community in 1885. In the early 1900s and in 1975, the church was destroyed by tornadoes. The first pastor was Rev. Allen Godwin. Mark Lowery, former CSA General and founder of Blue Mountain Female Institute, also served as pastor.
 
Erected 2000 by Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
