1. Hooper and Eldredge Bank Marker
Inscription. This is a replica of the original Bank of Deseret that later became the First Security Bank and then Wells Fargo Bank. As Utah's first bank, it was established around 1866, and located on the corner of 100 South and Main Street in Salt Lake City. Prior to that date, the LDS Church and private mercantiles functioned as bankers.
