The plaque at the apex of the point reads, "Take a moment to remember those from the town of Ontario who gave their lives protecting us, on land, sea, and in the air."

5. Memorial Point at Bear Creek Harbor
View is south toward the boat launch. There are four walkway hubs, each with a circular plaque. From the point to the boat launch, the plaques read: "War of 1812, 1812-1815; 1861-1865 Civil War", "World War II, 1941 1945", "Korean Conflict 1950-1954; 1962-1975 Vietnam War", and "World War I, 1917 1918".
