The most decorated player in school history, Joe Burrow became the first LSU quarterback to earn unanimous All-America honors in 2019. He became only the second player in LSU history to win the Heisman Trophy as well as winning five other national awards, including the Maxwell, Walter Camp, Davey O'Brien, Johnny Unitas and Manning Awards. The record-setting quarterback led the Tigers to a 15-0 mark and the 2019 National Championship as he became the most prolific single season passer in SEC history with 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns.
