1. Camp ANF-3 Marker
Inscription. The Civilian Conservation Corps established Camp ANF-3 near this location in 1933 at the height of the Great Depression. Enrollees lived here and worked on various conservation projects within the Allegheny National Forest. The camp later housed World War II German prisoners of war between 1943 and 1946.
