Additional commentary.
1. Discrepancies
There appear to be some discrepancies between the official marker for this building, and the Oysterponds Historical Society website. According to the website, the building has been renamed the "Old Point Schoolhouse", and was built in 1873. This contradicts the claim on the marker saying the building was erected in 1888.
