1. The Yadkin College Bell Marker
Inscription. The Yadkin College Bell was recovered from Yadkin College in 1924 — the same year that the school was closed and High Point University opened its doors. It was originally cast in bronze in 1882. Over the years, the bell has been displayed in various locations, including a tower erected by the classes of 1964 and 1967. Tradition called for the bell to be rung at the commencement of classes and meals and to celebrate athletic victories.

Erected by High Point University.
